This selection will change the appearance of your event&#8217;s login page, registration pages, and general platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This option can be found by navigating to your\u00a0<strong>General Settings<\/strong>\u00a0tab beneath\u00a0<strong>step 1<\/strong>\u00a0of your event Console sidebar. Next, click on the\u00a0<strong>Branding<\/strong>\u00a0tab and toggle the Appearance between Light or Dark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Jul-26-2022-01-46-08-28-PM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<br \/><strong>Theme Toggle<\/strong>:<br \/>Organizers will also find a theme toggle within this area. Upon selecting &#8216;enable&#8217; it will allow attendees to switch between light &amp; dark mode. If you enable this setting, we suggest that you think about the branding &amp; color scheme because it must be compatible for a light &amp; dark background.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Feb-17-2022-03-43-36-63-PM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a id=\"colors\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Primary, secondary and navigation bar colors<\/h3>\n<p>While still on your event&#8217;s <strong>general settings\u00a0<\/strong>page, you can scroll down to the\u00a0<strong>branding<\/strong> panel.<\/p>\n<p>Here is where you can select\u00a0<strong>primary\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>secondary <\/strong>colors by inputting the HEX color code into these fields.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary colors<\/strong> are reflecting in your platform&#8217;s:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>registration buttons<\/li>\n<li>app navigation<\/li>\n<li>chat icons<\/li>\n<li>and links<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Secondary colors<\/strong> are reflecting in your platform&#8217;s:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>left-side registration box<\/li>\n<li>and secondary buttons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Navigation bar\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Further, you have the option to select the color of the top navigation bar to compliment the other branding colors you have added to your platform. Simply enter the HEX color code of your desired color into the\u00a0<strong>navigation bar<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #f0fdf4;border-left: 4px solid #22c55e;padding: 12px 16px;margin: 16px 0;border-radius: 4px\"><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ensure that the background &amp; text color contrast. If for example, you were to set a dark tone for both, you run the risk of attendees being unable to see which each of the functions are within the navigation bar!\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a id=\"fonts\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Custom fonts<\/h3>\n<p>You can customize your event font by clicking the desired font family of your choice. You can check your chosen font by typing on the bar below the font dropdown.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We have more than 1500 fonts available. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/fonts.google.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">view the full font list here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"genplatformbanners\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">General platform banners<\/h3>\n<p>Below the area where you denoted primary and secondary colors above This is where you upload a company or organization logo and event branding for login banners, email banners, and event banners. The page gives helpful prompts on where the branding is used for your reference. Please pay special attention to any dimensions for an optimized look and feel.<\/p>\n<p>Once you change these images to your own branding, the standard images Canapii has added will disappear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Logo<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Optimized measurements: <strong>110 x 30 pixels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">This logo will appear in the top left-hand corner of the platform, in the menu bar. Once uploaded, you can check out how this looks by jumping to pressing <strong>View draft event<\/strong> (step 3).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Platform banner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Optimized measurements: <strong>1920 x 500 pixels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">This is used on your registration pages and is the default banner on the homepage. Ideally, the image should be dark, abstract, and not contain any text.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Remember, once you add a session and set it as a <strong>highlight banner<\/strong> the default homepage banner will be replaced. Once uploaded, you can check out how this looks under <strong>registration<\/strong> in <strong>step 1<\/strong> of your console side bar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">You can also show or hide the platform banner with the <strong>enable\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>disable\u00a0<\/strong>toggle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Email banner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Optimized measurements: <strong>750 x 120 pixels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">This is used on all email notifications about your event from Canapii. Once uploaded, you can check out how this looks under <strong>Registration<\/strong> (step 1).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Login banner\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Optimized measurements: <strong>1280 x 800 pixels<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Sometimes attendees will access your event from the login page, rather than the registration page.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Meeting logo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">Optimized measurements: <strong>200&#215;100 up to 400&#215;100<\/strong> <strong>pixels<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\">This will apply your logo to the right hand side of the screen for meetings hosted on Canapii.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #eef4ff;border-left: 4px solid #3b82f6;padding: 12px 16px;margin: 16px 0;border-radius: 4px\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the maximum file size of each image used is 3MB.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p><a id=\"backgroundimage\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Background image<\/h3>\n<p>Scrolling all the way to the bottom of the\u00a0<strong>branding<\/strong> panel will give you a spot to upload a background image for your event. This image will be used as the background of all pages (excluding login, forgot password, and registration pages). We suggest dimensions for this\u00a0 image to be between <strong>1920&#215;1080 and 2560&#215;1440<\/strong> pixels in size. However you can always play around with different sized banners to find the one that best fits your page&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"tilegraphics\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Session tile graphics <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Session banner:<\/strong> 1920 x 1080<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Playlist preview:<\/strong> 1620 x 1080 (This is the area of the session graphic that will be shown when the session is added to a playlist &#8211; note the reduced width. We suggest keeping any text or images that are baked into this graphic within these dimensions)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Highlight banner:<\/strong> up to 1920 x 500<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Secondary banner:<\/strong> up to 1920 x 175<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>VOD thumbnail: <\/strong>1920 x 1080 (This is shown within VOD sessions before the user presses the play icon to watch the session. This option is uploaded beneath the <strong>assets<\/strong> tab at the bottom of the specific session&#8217;s settings page)<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #eef4ff;border-left: 4px solid #3b82f6;padding: 12px 16px;margin: 16px 0;border-radius: 4px\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: playlist preview<\/strong>, <strong>highlight banner<\/strong> and <strong>secondary banner<\/strong> images are pulled default from the session&#8217;s banner. Sizes provided are guidelines of the maximum visible area (from the center of the image) and will be dependent on user&#8217;s screen size.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> When a session is highlighted in either the main or secondary highlight position, you have the option to override the image used as the highlight banner. To utilize this simply highlight the session from the session&#8217;s settings page and a new option window will appear to the right with additional controls for the session&#8217;s highlighted appearance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a id=\"profileimages\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Speaker and attendee profile images <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Profile images:<\/strong> 400 x 400<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>Picture files supported: JPEG &amp; PNG. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>Console offers a cropping tool to adjust final image size.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Mobile App Homepage View<\/h3>\n<p>You are able to select between Standard View and Highlight View\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Sep-27-2022-10-11-09-06-PM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Favicon<\/h3>\n<p>Event organizers can also make use of uploading their own branding via Favicon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #f0fdf4;border-left: 4px solid #22c55e;padding: 12px 16px;margin: 16px 0;border-radius: 4px\"><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tip: Dimensions should not be larger than 96&#215;96 or smaller than 16&#215;16.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Countdown Timer\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to add a countdown to attendees&#8217; native mobile app, go to\u00a0General Settings\u00a0&gt;\u00a0Branding\u00a0and then scroll down to the Countdown section. Choose a date and time (you can also change the time zone in this section if you&#8217;d like &#8211; otherwise, it will default to your event&#8217;s time zone), and an optional background. Click\u00a0Save\u00a0to commit the changes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To overlay a countdown over the banner in the Microsite\/landing page, go to the\u00a0Microsite\u00a0tab, click the\u00a0Edit\u00a0button on the Banner section, and then toggle\u00a0Enabled\u00a0on.\u00a0Use the calendar icon to choose your countdown date.
