{"id":485,"date":"2024-04-03T13:13:28","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T13:13:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/index.php\/docs\/how-to-tier-event-sponsors\/"},"modified":"2024-04-03T13:13:28","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T13:13:28","password":"","slug":"how-to-tier-event-sponsors","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/index.php\/docs\/how-to-tier-event-sponsors\/","title":{"rendered":"How to tier event sponsors"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"font-size: 1em;margin-top: 8px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Sponsor types<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>If your event is taking a tiered approach to supporting sponsors i.e. gold, silver &amp; bronze be clear on your tiering approach and naming structure before creating any sponsors.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>When adding a sponsor, <span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ensure that each sponsor has been given a<\/span><strong>\u00a0type <\/strong>as<strong> <\/strong>these<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> will be the titles of your hierarchy groups.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">You can manually add this information by going into the sponsor zone\u00a0 and <strong>u<\/strong><\/span><strong>pdating<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> the details.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">You can also control the size of each groups logo&#8217;s so that they&#8217;ll visually represent the Sponsor hierarchy. The logos can range from X-Large (i.e. Gold level sponsors) to small (i.e. Bronze level sponsors.\u00a0<br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"background: #f0fdf4;border-left: 4px solid #22c55e;padding: 12px 16px;margin: 16px 0;border-radius: 4px\"><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Internally you might tier your supporting Sponsors but perhaps you don&#8217;t want the tiering system to be visually obvious within your event? <br \/>To tier sponsors but hide the &#8216;type&#8217; from public view, simply go into <strong>&#8216;page settings&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong>&amp; disable &#8216;<strong>show sponsor types&#8217;.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4 style=\"font-size: 1em;margin-top: 8px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Sort mode<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>sponsors<\/strong> tab of the event console sidebar.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>sort mode <\/strong>and here you will choose between sorting by <strong>sponsor type<\/strong> and <strong>sponsors from a specific type.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Sorting <strong>sponsor type<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> will enable you to move your sponsor types either up and down to match your hierarchy. For example, if you would like the &#8216;gold&#8217; sponsor group to appear before &#8216;silver&#8217; the assortment arrows enable you to change the order accordingly. You can also choose the logo size for each group so that higher tiered sponsors have a visibly larger logo, if required. <\/span><\/li>\n<li>Sorting <strong>sponsors from a specific type<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> will let you sort the position of sponsors within a particular type of sponsor i.e. arranging sponsors alphabetically.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"font-size: 1em;margin-top: 8px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Sponsor Tags\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">You are also able to create specific tags for your sponsors that will be visible on the sponsor pages.
