You may assign this badge to a selected Ticket type and\/or Attendee type under \u2018<strong>Assigned<\/strong>\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Once done, you may proceed with customizing the design and elements of the badge.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Screenshot202025-03-1720at2011-33-02E280AFPM-png.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next, select a template of your choice and click <strong>Save<\/strong>. You can now proceed to customize your selected template, such as uploading your logo, toggling features you want to show on the badge, updating colors, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a id=\"settings\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Creating Badge &#8211; Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Under <strong>Settings<\/strong>, users may choose their preferred paper stack and badge layout. We have three default options (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">size and layout not changeable for these options<\/span>), but users are free to input a custom size by adding the paper width, height, bleed area, and badge layout.<\/p>\n<p>Admins also need to select the type of printer they will use to print the badge: Colored or Thermal paper. As well as enable or disable the grid outlines to ensure that the design and elements are aligned during the design process.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Screenshot202025-03-1720at2011-34-23E280AFPM-png.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a id=\"background\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Creating Badge &#8211; Background<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Under <strong>Background<\/strong>, users may choose to either use a solid color by using the color slider or adding the hex code, or users may upload a background image. Please note that it is recommended to upload an image based on the paper size selected, and the <strong>maximum image size should be 3MB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Users can check the back view option if they would like to apply the same color or image to the badge\u2019s back view. Otherwise, they can use a different color or image.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Screenshot202025-03-1720at2011-35-01E280AFPM-png.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a id=\"elements-shapes\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\"><strong>Creating Badge &#8211; Elements &amp; Shapes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Under <strong>Elements<\/strong>, users can drag and drop Attendee data and Custom data desired, and rearrange them accordingly to their badge design. We have default attendee data, which pulls data from the user\u2019s attendee profile, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Profile photo<\/li>\n<li>Full name<\/li>\n<li>First name only, or Last name only<\/li>\n<li>Attendee QR code<\/li>\n<li>Company<\/li>\n<li>Job Title<\/li>\n<li>Attendee Type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Users can also put custom data like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Text<\/li>\n<li>Image<\/li>\n<li>QR Code &#8211; can be linked to a custom<\/li>\n<li>text, attendee data, or website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Shapes<\/strong>, on the other hand, allow users to add vertical or horizontal lines<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Screenshot202025-03-1720at2011-36-43E280AFPM-png.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a id=\"badge-printing\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Nunito, sans-serif;font-size: 1.375rem;font-weight: bold\"><br \/>Badge printing<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Nunito, sans-serif;font-size: 1.375rem;font-weight: bold\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For organizers, you are easily able to print your attendees&#8217; badges during on-site registration. On the console, head over to <strong>Onsite &gt; On-site registration tab,<\/strong> and you will then see your attendee list. Once they have checked in, you can simply click on <strong>Print, <\/strong>and it will automatically print your badge on the printer connected to your computer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Sep-09-2022-09-12-22-19-AM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can head on to your Attendees tab. You will similarly see a Badge column with an option to print.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Sep-09-2022-09-13-37-08-AM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Onsite Check-in kiosk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For onsite attendees, a check-in kiosk is also available for you to check in to the event.
