It&#8217;s here where your attendees leave comments, send each other 1-1 messages &amp; also receive technical support.<\/p>\n<p>Each of these settings will need to be manually enabled from the console. To do this:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">General settings &gt; Features &amp; Networking &gt; Here you&#8217;ll find a<strong> Networking <\/strong>panel.<\/p>\n<p>Now either enable or disable each of the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homepage chats<\/strong> &#8211; The event chat which features within an interactive bar on the homepage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event chats<\/strong> &#8211; Allows &#8216;chatting&#8217; within the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal chats <\/strong>&#8211;<strong> <\/strong>Allows 1-1 chatting between attendees within an event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group chats &#8211; <\/strong>Allow attendees to create group chats (personal chat must be enabled).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tech support &#8211; <\/strong>Allows attendees to receive technical support from the homepage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #eef4ff;border-left: 4px solid #3b82f6;padding: 12px 16px;margin: 16px 0;border-radius: 4px\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tip: Organizers are able to restrict chats and interactive bar capabilities to audiences via attendee type.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4 style=\"font-size: 1em;margin-top: 8px;margin-bottom: 4px\">How admins respond to technical support requests from the console<\/h4>\n<p>If the Tech support tab is enabled, event admins are able to respond to support requests from the console.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Firstly these assigned admins will need to ensure that they have the right permissions. Please check these from the admin tab and ensure the &#8216;Message center&#8217; permissions have been allocated: <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Jun-27-2022-02-56-01-30-PM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Admins can now respond to technical support via the <strong>Message center<\/strong> (found within step 2). They also have the ability to hide\/delete\/mark complete help and support chats from app.<\/li>\n<li>Upon going into the Message center, please select <strong>Tech support &amp; FAQs<\/strong>.
