To enable the chat features, go into General settings<\/strong> (step one) and within the menu, scroll down to find networking interactions.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here you’re able to either enable or disable each of the following:<\/p>\n

Homepage chat:\u00a0<\/strong>When enabled, the homepage chat will appear within the interactive bar, on the landing page of your event. It’s a perfect opportunity to spark conversation & engagement amongst attendees.<\/p>\n

Personal chat:<\/strong> Enables 1-1 (private) chats between attendees. This is a great way to encourage attendees to network and find out more about each other on a personal level!<\/p>\n

Event Chat: <\/strong>Once enabled, this feature allows event organizers to ‘broadcast to all’. An example of how the event chat can be used would be by broadcasting a message to inform everyone that a session is due to start in 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

Sponsor sidebar chat:\u00a0<\/strong>Enable this to allow attendees to leave comments & engage with your supporting brands.<\/p>\n

Resource center sidebar chat<\/strong>: Allows attendees to leave comments and engage with other attendees within this area of your event.<\/p>\n

Community Gallery sidebar chat: <\/strong>Encourage your community to come together by commenting on & engaging with each other within this dedicated area!<\/p>\n

Targeting interactive bar functions to select audiences\u00a0<\/h3>\n

You are able to target the interactive bar chat and event wide chats in following areas:<\/p>\n

General Settings > Networking > Chat<\/p>\n

    Event Chats<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Personal Chats (This should pull through and remove the chat icon in attendees page and sponsor representative list)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Group Chats<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Session > Interactive tab<\/p>\n
