The left-hand sidebar within the console is where you&#8217;ll follow the steps to set up &amp; create your event. You&#8217;ll find that some features will be illuminated in white while others will be grayed out.<\/p>\n<p>To manage this, simply go into <strong>General Settings<\/strong> and select <strong>Features &amp; Networking<\/strong>. Here you&#8217;ll find the menu with a list of features which you&#8217;ll need to either enable or disable, depending on your events requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Jan-08-2024-09-50-20-8175-AM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The features which you enable will appear illuminated within the left-hand console sidebar.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.knowledge-base.canapii.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-png-Feb-17-2022-04-18-02-25-PM.png\" style=\"max-width: 100%;height: auto\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 1.05em;margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 4px\">Features &amp; Networking Options:<\/h3>\n<p>Further tailor your event with the following features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Home Tab &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>enable information tabs on event homepage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open pages in a new tab when session is active<\/strong>: Prevents attendees from accidentally navigating away from a session that is in-progress.<\/li>\n<li><strong>24 Hour Session Reminder: <\/strong>Send email reminders to attendees 24 hours before a session is set to begin.\u00a0These are only sent to users who have been added to the\u00a0<strong>attendees<\/strong>\u00a0tab in a session&#8217;s settings page or have booked the session themselves.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom Domain: <\/strong>Set a custom domain to take the place of\u00a0<strong>https:\/\/app.canapii.com\/<\/strong> in your event&#8217;s URL. This option is only available on certain upgraded plans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Badges:\u00a0<\/strong>This allows users to create and print attendee badges onsite.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sponsor Admin:\u00a0 <\/strong>Give your sponsors the power to build out, update, and manage their own sponsor zones via a dedicated sponsor portal<em>.<\/em> Only available on certain upgraded plans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>On-site Registration:\u00a0<\/strong>this allows the admin to register attendees on-site during the event.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hotels:\u00a0<\/strong>this allows admin to manage and create hotel reservations for attendees during the registration.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flights:<\/strong> this allows admin to manage and import flight bookings for attendees during the registration.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Campaign:\u00a0<\/strong>this feature allows admin to send emails and event communication from the canapii console.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Canapii Provider:\u00a0<\/strong>enables Canapii Green Room and Canapi RTMP generation for use in session livestream.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Welcome Video:\u00a0<\/strong>play welcome video once attendees open the platform homepage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>App QR Scanner:\u00a0<\/strong>Enable use of QR scanner in the mobile app<\/li>\n<li><strong>On-site welcome email:\u00a0<\/strong>Enable automated email when users check-in online.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Note taking:\u00a0<\/strong>allows to enable and disable the note taking section within a session viewing page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Favorites:\u00a0<\/strong>enables or disables favorites on Attendee, Speaker, and Sponsor pages.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Self-Check-in: <\/strong>Enable pop-up notifications when user joins a meeting, session or an event.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meetings: <\/strong>Allow receiving self-checkin notification within the meeting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Session: <\/strong>Allow receiving self-checkin notification within the session<\/li>\n<li><strong>Event: \u00a0<\/strong>receiving self-checkin notification within the event<\/li>\n<li><strong>Home agenda<\/strong>: Build a standalone agenda that will live beneath any primary or secondary banners on the homepage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Highlight Banner Carousel &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>input the duration on how long the highlight banner should change.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondary Banner Carousel &#8211;<\/strong> input the duration on how long the secondary banner should change.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Canapii offers a robust selection of pages and functionalities that you can use to curate your attendee&#8217;s experience.
